06.11.81 - Board of Censors Meeting
Censor Guy One: Ok, on to Exhibit # 13. A lyric at the tail end of "Start Me Up" by the Rolling Stones clearly states, "You make a dead man come." Hard to believe, I know. How do they expect this filth to get by us? Its an outrage!
Censor Guy Two: Its disgusting. They need to lay of the goddamned drugs for a minute and consider the fact that anyone could hear this on the radio. This is filth!
Censor Guy Three: I've got to disagree here. Historically speaking, in the realm of music, sexually explicit material is only taboo when the subject is alive. In this case, as you so accurately observed, it is a "dead man" that is coming here. This not only avoids issues of censorship, but it also very descriptively communicates just how deeply hot this woman must be. After all, she is able to bring a lifeless corpse to climax.
(an awkward silence passes)
The Head of the Board: Well, I see no choice but to let Exhibit # 13 be heard by the general public.
(gavel slams down.)
